Sebelumnya saya memohon maaf kepada para pecinta buku di seluruh dunia karena saya ini sejenis ngapusi, ngakunya suka baca tapi blog buku ndak keurus selama setahun. Duh duh...
Oleh karena itulah, tahun 2014 saya bertekad menghidupkan kembali blog ini sebagai bukti kesukaan saya membaca. Untungnya Mba Astrid selaku tuan rumah Books to Share menggelar event menarik ini. Well, event Lucky No. 14 Reading Challenge ini sukses menarik perhatian saya. Sejujurnya, seumur-umur saya belum pernah ikut Reading Challenge (RC) dan hal tersebut merupakan salah satu resolusi 2014 saya. Eh, lha kok ngepas ada RC seru. Semangat njajal deh :D
Jadi singkatnya, RC ini mengharuskan kita untuk membaca at least 14 buku dari 14 kategori yang disediakan. Kategorinya juga bukan semata-mata berdasar pada genre. Keren ini, batin saya, kemudian menguatkan tekad dan meluruskan niat untuk ikut. Meskipun begitu, hati ini pun ngga yakin 100%. Secara 2014 saya bakalan sibuk beresin tesis, bisa kelar ngga ya itu 14 buku? Tapiiiii... Mengingat diri ini nantinya akan banyak baca jurnal-jurnal penelitian, boleh lah ya, menyelingi diri membaca buku-buku yang diikutsertakan dalam RC ini. Yah, itung-itung jaga balance biar ndak setres :D
So, tanpa perlu semakin berpanjang lebar, ini dia 14 kategori yang tersaji di RC ini berikut buku-buku yang siap saya lahap :D

Pilihan saya: The Geography of Bliss by Eric Weiner. Hadiah ultah saya tahun ini dari sahabat tersayang. Blurp di kover belakang mengindikasikan buku ini akan penuh petualangan ke tempat-tempat indah. Jadi penasaran. Awalnya buku ini mau saya masukkan ke kategori Freebies Time, tapi setelah dipikir" mau di-swap aja deh :))

Pilihan saya: Hmmm... Saya bukan tipe judging a book by its cover, literally. Tapi sejujurnya, buku yang saya beli karena kepincut covernya adalah: Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone edisi bahasa Indonesia!! Tapi kalo boleh saya mau baca versi Englishnya untuk event ini. Selain itu saya juga beli The Palace of Illusion-nya Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni karena terpesona cover-nya yang sangat magical. Mungkin mau re-read itu juga :)
